Passau is a medieval German town at the border to Austria. It is called three-river-town because Danube, Inn and Ilz are flowing together here. The river in the front is the Danube. In the background (between town and hills) the Inn comes from the alpine region. The little Ilz is on the left outside of the picture, which is made from the old fortress Oberhaus (13th century).
