Description
The city of Klaipeda is the biggest harbor of Lithuania. Before WW II it was the most northern German town with the name Memel founded in the 1250s. The German history can be seen in this kind of frame houses which are not usual in Lithuania. The former magazine is now used as an artists court. Klaipeda also marks the northern end of the Curonian Spit. Copyright by Rudi Prott, Munich.
