Nymphenburg castle is one of two royal castles in Munich. The Bavarian kings used it as summer residence. In this times this place was outside Munich. You see only the central part of the eastern face or street side of this 17th century building. The whole frontal width of 632 m (2,073 ft) (north-south axis) even surpasses Versailles Palace near Paris.
